Buying Gulid Wars with a Visa Gift Card

Hey,

Has anyone ever tried buying Guild Wars with a Visa Gift Card? I tried earlier today but for some reason the system kept thinking the purchase was fradulant, etc. At this point I have no idea what to do; anyone ever do this?

on the gift card....i believe that they accept certain ones...i bleieve that you have to have it setup as a recharageable visa card. it has to have an ongoing charge cycle. it is really frustraiting that Anet can't do this. I find it hard to believe that with all of today's technology that NCsoft and Anet are unable to reach a vast majority of thier players. Market some GW gift cards...or some Ncsoft gift cards...put them up for sale via paypal, paysafe, etc...then use those in the stores. Or get them out to merchants.

getting the same problem with a mastercard, i have bought stuff with it in the ingame store before, so thats not the problem. i also get a code 1751104 half of the time. well i guess anet dont want us to buy stuff in the store

Same thing with me and my visa gift card, I bought a $50 Vanilla Visa Gift Card, and it's reloadable and useable for online purchases too, I'm just getting the runaround from ncsoft mostly about it (not our fault!)

If they're going to advertise the store as working with these cards, it needs to actually work with cards.

had a friend use a one time only cc number. so that can't be it.

The problem is Anets marketing team, they drop the ball instead of playing grab

GW gift cards sold in stores.....

I ended up ordering from EB Games in the end, they accepted my card.
