i cant hear people on teamspeak
if im playing winamp, the sound is cut
all pc sounds are cut off
there is sound in game, but no speech for cut scenes.
i can get the sound to come back on, by turning thre sound and EAX off in game. when i have done this ts/winamp/etc are fine when the game is running, but i have to do this everytime i load to a new map/quest/outpost in game!
also if i dont tick EAX i get no sound in game.
my soundcard is an audigy 4 and i dont have these problems in BF2, Farcry CSS.

Hey I got an audigy 4 too Try disabling EAX in your sound card configuration and try setting CMS mode back to normal, try toying around with those options. I have to turn off EAX myself If I'm going to play games becouse the game sound and my music EAX collide with each other.

I think the sound got messed up with the latest GWEN updates.
There used to be no problems, I could use EAX. Now wehenever i enable it, there is no sound.
Also on another computer I run on, I get very loud noise whenever I enter a map, no matter what the quality of sound is set at and even if EAX is disabled.
