This question has bothered me ever since I saw the GW:EN Trailer. Those of you who's seen the trailer and saw Gwen (the once little girl from Ascalon). she looks very grown and GW:EN is supposedly set 6 years after GW:Prophecies (if I'm not mistaking)... So how old do you think She is now? And how old are "we" (our character's in-game-lifespan) then?

I'd say max of 15 or 16....I'm guessing 14.

well, she was 8 years old in presearing.

So 8+2+6 = 16. She is now 16 years old, maybe 17 if it has been slightly longer then 6 years and she was almost 9.

It's actually 8-12 + EIGHT = 16 - 20

You've got uour math wrong. We last see Gwen just before the Searing (during the Searing cutscene in fact, I believe), after which there's a two-year skip to post-Searing. Then 3 more years elapse between Prophecies/Factions and Nightfall. 6 years after the Searing (which is what Gwen says in the trailer) would be one year after Nightfall...

yes its kinda strange, in proph, mhenlo, cynn, eve, aidan and the rest of the gang were all given ages, but as factions and nf came out they are all exactly the same appearance no change in them. bit of wrinkles or change in armor would have been nice :P

rumor and speculation says she'll be a hero...there's an image floating around on the fansites of a render of her next to at least 3-4 known heroes

back on topic...
In the trailer she talks about Ascalon being the center of her world...then she says 6 years ago my world burned...so 6 years from the time of the Searing (2 years before the events post-searing) is when the events of GW:EN take place...not that 8 year crap..

For Gwen:
8 years old is about right...10 is pushing it for young Gwen...so (8-10)+6=14-16...which matches her young to mid teenage appearance in the trailer.

we got a bunch of little perverts/pedophiles running around here...
