there should be a /time command, that allows the user to see what time it is and how long they have been playing, because my dad is always saying how long have you been playing, and i want to see the clock but i have to put my guildwars screan at the bottom and that takes too long for slow loading computers, so there should be a /time command that replies something like this, "The current time is hh:mm and you have been playing for exactly x hours and x minutes. You have played this map for x hours and x minutes."

Go to the store and buy a 9.99 clock and put it next to your computer. Game already tells you how long you have been on a particular map/city with /age. If you like in New York, it may tell you the time is 5:00pm, but what would it tell the person in London?

Solution without buying a clock: check your time before you start GW. Check your time after. Simple.

hey, put the /time on GMT (or w/e GW uses). Then everyone will have the same time!

and if you need to find out the time in your area, figure out the amount to add/subtract from GMT. Yay.

Gaile said in ID1 on the 20th that an ingame clock will not happen

"Think that may take the fantasy feel away?" Is a paraphrase as close as i can remember

Other solutions
1)Buy a clock
2)Use the clock on your moblie (and who don't have a mobile nowadays)
3)Run in window mode
4)Overlay a clock into your game (if that desn't give an "Unfair advantage" then its not against EULA)

Wouldn't finding the time then messing around with timezones be more hastle and timeconsuming than going looking at a clock
Please don't try and tell me your house has no clocks at all, I have 6 things with clocks on them in my roomand 5 of them "live" on my desk

Agreed with everybody above. I have like 3 clocks in my room. I have a watch. And a cell phone with a clock.

Heck, I once went to some convention center for some buisness show and guys where handing out free, small ditigal clocks. They were cheap little things with the company's logo on it (kinda like those promotional pens. So don't tell me you can't "afford" a clock. If you can't afford a clock, you shouldn't be spending your money on a video game, internet service, or a computer.

Yeah great idea. I keep doing "/thetime" in Guildwars to check the time. Damn Counterstrike xD

Oh yeah, like a radar doesn't take away the fantasy feel, or the annoying "you have been playing for..." message and a bunch of other things, some of which are nowhere near as useful as a clock would be. Some reasoning <_<
