User Messaging

There should be a way to send a message to a user who is offline.
We should be able to type a message then when the user logs on a message will be waiting in their storage as an item. so if you have something urgent to tell a user, you can just send the message without having to wait for them to log on.

that would be nice, almost like a mail box, but their inventory might be full so it would be cool to have a mail bag in your inventory right next to your normal bags.

Or just add another tab to storage that could store those messages. Also at log-on, a notice should be displayed, letting you know about new messages. This could be abused though, so maybe it should only accept messages from people on your own friends list.

I like this idea, but instead of making it only accept messages from your friends list as standard, put a toggle there instead. People that aren't on your friend list might have a legitimate reason for contacting you. Don't forget to make the ignore list apply to it.

Besides, it can be cool getting junk mail.

CoH CoV has an in game E-mail. its not that great. LOTS of sale spam seems to happen in it (Item y on Blackmarket for x amt infamy get em while they are hot) type crap... I have to say pass on this one...

I would like to see better Guild and Alliance message boards however...

For stuff like scheduling events or whatever within an alliance.
