So the $5 from the prelease does not go towards the games price once released?
Serenity Divinity
I bought the pre-release from the in-game store believing that the $5 would go towards the final price when you buy GW:EN. But from what I've read now, it doesn't and is just for playing in the early weekend, is that correct?
Mister_Smiley
wrong the 5$ does count.
Wrath Of Dragons
If you buy from the store accessed through the ingame logon sreen, the 5$ will count toward your total purchase.

NEW INFO: Yes, I have just learned that while retailers will set their own pricing policy, for the in-game store, this is essentially a "free preorder pack." That is, the cost of the GW:EN Prerelease Bonus Pack in the in-game store will be credited towards the final purchase of GW:EN. *happy dance*
Mystic Cobra
In number:39,99-4,99=35$(GW:EN cost on 31st August if you bought PBP)
In word:You get PBP free if you buy GW:EN in the online store.

like people of said...it does count towards the purchase price of GW:EN when it's released.
For those planning on buying the boxed copy: I would use that fact when going to my brick and mortar store....if they claim it doesn't count then just say you'll have to take your business to the online store because there you can save the $5. I would be most won't call your bluff on that and give you the preorder pack for free with GW:EN's pruchase.
That's a problem I had with Nightfall. The first copy I bought I had to pay an extra $5 for the preorder pack in addition to the cost of the game...the second copy (different clerk same store) I got the preorder pack for free with the purchase of Nightfall.

I saw two different policies at two neighbouring stores at the weekend.
Game were selling the pre-order pack for £1.99 as a stand alone product. No discount off of the full version or anything.
HMV a couple of shops away were giving away the pre-order pack if you ordered the full game and paid a £5 deposit.
I don't how much you would end up paying in total though as they were not advertising the cost of the full game.
