If you mean you want to Force VSync OFF then you will have to go into your NVIDIA control panel, which you should be able to gain access to, from your Windows Control Panel.

Once its open, again, Depending on the drivers your using you may have the New or Classic Control Panel display. You will have to navigate through it and find your graphical settings and tell it to either VSync = Off or VSync - Application controled.

So either its off all the time or can be changed within the application, like the VSync checkbox within windows.

Can do it via GW option panel also.

If I'm understanding your question, as Malice said, all you have to do is look under the 'video' tab in the GW options screen. There's a check box that says, "wait for vertical sync". Uncheck it. That will work unless it's been forced "on" in your drivers.

I highly doubt that vsync will matter in any games when you have a 7500 LE...

That means it doesn't matter... your vsync cap is probably 60 or 70...

Yeah vSync doesn't impact framerate unless it's higher than 60 or w/e your monitor's framerate is.

BTW im talking bout FPS not framerates, and im sure vSync impacts FPS as my friend has a GeForce 5100 and gets Fps of about 120 after he turned VSync off, now that annoyed me greatly.

I can control my Vsync just fine in vista, using 8800gtx.

And FPS and framerate is the same thing...(afaik). It's the number that represents how many frames are drawn per second.

Turning Vsync off will NOT increase your FPS. You say you only get 30 fps. Well, Vsync off means it will not be capped at 60 hz for LCD's and 80 something for CRT's.

Vsync is there to spare your monitor by not sending too much frames per second, as it's useless anyways, as a LCD monitor refreshes @ 60Hz.

So to be clear: Vsync NEVER boosts or lowers performance.

Yes, FPS (frames per second) and framerate is the same thing. And VSynch only limits your framerates to your monitor's refresh rate (ok, it has a very slight overhead as well from memory, but only a 1-2 fps at most), so if you can't reach that it doesn't matter.

Stuff for your card being controlled in Vista is going to be done through the control panel/drivers for your card, not through Vista.

Another stupid thing about your drivers? Likely. Another stupid thing about Vista? No.

My suggestion would be to try some forums for the video card/manufacturer and get some thoughts from other people who have the same card.

FPS is limited by the power of you computer. A more powerful graphics card would probably help, although your computer could be limited by some other component.
