Greetings! We are the Chronicles of Auspicious Fate, a recently-formed alliance which is dedicated to enjoying the game and laughing with other reasonably mature individuals, away from the politics, the drama, and the bureaucracy that plagues so many other alliances. Many of us are quite zany, and enjoy engaging in random acts of insanity within and outside the alliance (the most notable of recent history being "The Trial of Pantho Albright", which was held in International district 1 of Lion's Arch. Panthro was accused of being criminally handsome, and while found not guilty due to having honorable motives, we thought it'd be fun to sentence him to death by fighting Glint naked anyway. Whoo!)
Most of our members generally stick to PvE, however, PvP has a definite presence within our alliance, with a strong interest in AB and GvG and a glimmer of HA in some peoples' eyes. The alliance itself is relaxed with rules, with only the minimum believed necessary to ensure a fun playing environment for our member guilds and to keep the alliance rolling. We very much believe that people should be allowed to pursue their own interests and goals in-game, rather than being forced into activities. Among other things, this means that we do not require faction farming from our member guilds. There are no age or skill requirements to join the alliance, however member guilds may have their own criteria for their own members.
Our alliance guilds are mostly based in North America, and play in the Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern time zones.

After these questions are answered, we will arrange some activities with prospective guilds. Afterwards, new guilds will generally be allowed in on a unanimous vote of all guilds in the alliance who have been a member for more than 30 days. We apologize for the tough requirements, but this is done to ensure that we keep our alliance as fun as possible for all its members.
