Any monk worth their healing knows the numbers on the 10-key pad relate to the position of a member on their team as shown in the "Team Formation" screen. Seems like it would be helpful the have the position of each member displayed by position number, say on the right side across from their name. This would provide way for even the less than great healer to "heal by the numbers," so speak.

Do you mean for GvG etc or just PvE?
PvE then probably a good idea, although, many monks in PUG teams ask for the formation to be switched around as they do have bound keys. However that is sometimes a pain in the a** to do as some players are not standing right next to you to re-invite.
Do they not already have this in PvP? Ive played limited PvP with guild and we always call "Blind on 2" etc and the monk just does his thing, so i am presuming you mean PvE?

If the game assigned the position number to the person then when a team was reordered, say to put the monks at the bottom, then the numbers would reflect the new order. Thus, who is ever at the top of the screen would be #1 and the last (if there are 8 members) would be #8.
