I went to change my email for security reasons (one of my 'friends' went on and promoted everyone in my guild to officer and the leaders on vacations for a week ) but when i go to the edit account page once I log on there is no change email tab to check off. I don't know why it isn't there, as it used to be and my brothers account has one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can't change the email that you use to login as. This is an issue that Gaile says has to be corrected from PlayNC's side, so there's not really much Anet can do.

When you link your account to a PlayNC master account, you can change the password on your account and the address that emails about your account are sent to, but the login name is set in stone for now.

yes as Flamedout said above you can't physically change it, however, after linking to a plaync master account, you can change the master email address on the account, so if anyone trys to log in and uses the wrong password a number of times, then it will email you on your correct email address and let you know...

Personally, I think its more secure this way, as the email address is just a log in name now and more secure than most login's (My email address on the account has been changed about 6 times on the account and the email address i use as a login has been dead since game release)

Good point, and I'd forgotten to mention that.

Never thought of the email address as a big username though.
