Take a look at the Tyrian Explorer League subforum. There are plenty of threads on exploration there.

You're stuck at 95.2%? Man you haven't seen anything yet!

When I reached 99% (i'm 100 now ) i was swearing to find that little tiny bit (I had the arenas uncovered so I guess that helps but still they don't amount to 4.8%)

Two main threads in Tyrian Explorer's League will be usefull for you:

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10160387
- Covers most spots that are missed on +95% maps and also has zoomed-out maps that are +100%
All places on those maps can be reached.

Think people still do map-compares there, if you need them.

Hey, look at that, it's 84175

Yeah, 95% is nothing. I'm stuck at 98.9 Elonian, and an alliance member of mine is stuck at 99.4. At least at 95%, you can usually visually see areas that you've missed by just looking at your map and looking at a fully uncovered map. When you get down to a fractional amount left, you usually cannot see where you've missed, no matter how much you try to go over it with a fine-tooth comb. At that point, if you don't have photoshop, and don't want to pay someone to do a comparison for you (because usually those are huge ripoffs for the fee they charge), your only option is to go through the entire campaign again and re-scrape. That, my friend, sucks.

I still have a large uncovered area in dreadnaught's drift, I haven't got any arenas, but I'm still at 100%. The small edges of normal maps is what gives most. Sometimes you don't even see the map change, but you still get +0.1.

Back to Medieval Assassins [MA]

im stuck at 99.8% =(

the tip is run at a 55 degree angle straight into every wall of every wall...ever. according to a-net when they closed off all the old school arenas, they did compensate for lost percentages and so its still very very possible to reach 100%+ it just requires lots of very very tedious work.

now there's mods coming out that make the fog a bright colour (ex red). That helps greatly if you have fog over water areas (the keys at istan for instance) cos usually you can barely see those.

Where did you see those Prism2525? I would love a tool like that for mapping out all 3 contents...

Hmm. I don't understand how red fog helps that much other then the reason as posted by someone above. It'd be helpful to know which kind of fog I'm supposed to uncover. Like... a green fog instead of red, which shows I can cover it.

Be more attentive, it's honestly not that hard (especially in Tyria, where the leeways are massive).

The maps in the link above use the U map instead of the world map. That should remain materially unchanged from the updated map and has the benefit of not being obscured by the clouds.

I found it was best to run GW in a window, then pick a point on the 100%map and mark it with the mouse cursor. Then alt tab to the GW U map and adjust that until the two points were the same. Then just alt tab back and forth looking for areas you haven't cleared.

When I did this, I left the desert for last. Got 100% with half of the Arid Sea still uncovered and without getting all edges in the desert. I did do the Dunes of Despair bonus area though, and I know I scraped the Dragon's Lair/Tombs stuff north of the main desert map. I had also finished the game on with my character long before I started going for this title.

Good luck.
