I was thinking about rerolling one of my characters and wondered do you think that GW:EN will provide a create new character option with new faces and hair and the jazz, or will it only be accessible with characters made from previous expansions/games?

I'm thinking it'll be the must use existing character or am I wrong?

Ok before i give an answer to your post i will first say.... Plz read this forum more often or use the search button because this question has been asked many times and answered many times.. no need to make a new thread about this..

That said...

You wont be able to make a " Gwen " character.. It is lvl 20 contents and you have to use a character from one of the previous chapters.. Its an expansion and not a stand alone game in that sense..

Yea, previously created characters (Must be level 20 to get to GWEN).
No new character creation.

of course not making a character strictly for GWEN doesn't have to mean that no new options are added to the other campaigns, though it is probably unlikely.

Yeah. Read some other threads and you will find it's only practical for GW:EN to include hair/facial changing features to make up for the lack of not having the ability to make GW:EN chars which would then mean they'd have new design options.

I wouldn't see the problem with just adding some new details to character looks in the core character creation, I mean this is an expansion pack so why not expand on the current character creation options. Just a though.

They're likely not making new faces. Why? For the same reason that EotN is an expansion and not a campaign. They don't want to bother making stuff for new characters.

If you've looked at the characters they've shown us, they've all had existing faces and hair.

You will have to go start a character thru whatever campaign you have, and then level them up to go to EotN. Hopefully next time around they will make a new campaign with new unique professions, that would be kew. Even though I highly doubt it, but they do owe us alittle something for having to wait 2 or more years for GW2. EoTN is not the end on GW, they will continue making expansions or campaignes to keep us busy for acouple years or so.

Just a though. I agree. I don't think that anyone is under the assumption that we can create new characters for GWEN, but playing GWEN isn't going to make it impossible in the future to create new characters, so I personally would love to have just a few features added so when I do create new ones they can be different...

Either that or simply pool the campaign creation. That way you could have any hair, skin, or face you wanted for any character in any campaign. That would be new enough for me...
