The 'precedent was new classes -> new slots to creat toon for the new classes. Now it's no new classes -> no new slots. the math works in my mind. Plus why would they give us slots that would require us to play 6-30 hours, from a previously purchased game to get a character to lvl 20 before they even get to step foot into GW:EN?

This is true. As much as I would like it, I think the # of slots & the option to buy more is perfectly legitimate business .

I agree. It sucks we dont get new slots (with 1 new one I would have 1 slot for every character class) but I understand their logic and their decision not to include one.
Guess I will just have to buy a slot once I want to make that 10th profesion.

Why do you need extra slots ? Eye of the North is for existing characters only so having extra slots doesn't do anyone any good. If you would like extra slots you can always purchase them through the online store.

I still think they should have given us 2 or 3 extra slots; 2 so we can have one of every class and maybe a 3rd for a pvp slot.

I'm not disappointed, I didn't expect slots, considering only existing lvl 20 can access qwen.

I'd be pissed if it was a new game and it didn't have any slots, but this is an "expansion" not a new game. If you truely need more char slots buy them.

Anyway, its frustraiting of course to NOT get something for free (just like all the people complaining that they only got 2 slots instead of 4 more when they linked accounts), but people will get used to the idea.

Its annoying that we are not getting a new character slot, but as Eye of the North is for existing level 20 characters, slots would not really be useful. And i agree that if you need new slots, you can just buy them.

I thought i read that lower lvls could access GW:EN. Read that loong time ago so i might have missed the memo if it changed.

no only lvl 20 characters can access GWEN. not sure if they have to have finished their campaign or not tho. i forget. But they do have to be lvl 20 thats old news. Anyway theres nothing wrong with no new slot. theres no new prof and you'd have to start in another campaign anyway just to get to be able to play GWEN anyway.

Well, even if you could get into GWEN prior to level 20, since you'll like to face 28 lvl foes immidately, it won't really matter.

I would love to do that but i have the problem that my card isnt valid for the shop and my parents dont want me to buy things from the internet :'(

Theres no new professions coming out, why should there be an additional character slot? Besides, you cannot even create a new player in GWEN. Theres no need for an additional slot.

Why don't you just let this thread just go away. You do not need extra slots for Eye of the North ! It is for existing characters only, new slots does noone any good in the expansion. Again, if you want extra slots then you can get them from the online store.

an xtra slot won't hurt! specially if free and comes with the game!!! & for those saying u can get it online, i already bought 6 online, but I always welcome a good free bonus if it was included

Its all high level gameplay = no tutorial = no need for toon creation = no new toon slots....makes sense to me. If you need a new slot you can buy one. this expansion costs 10 dollars less than the last ones so look at it this way.... if you take that extra 10 dollars thats either 2 toon slots (@ $5 per) for those who want them or 10 dollars of the game for those who don't.
