No hammer mastery

I just wanted to make an hammer build and when i wanted to place some hammer mastery skill......there was no hammer mastery.Why there is no hammer mastery ?I got 12 in hammer mastery and an hammer is equiped but still no hammer mastery.

Weird. maybe you don't have any Hammer mastery Skills. Never seen that before.

The only reason I can think of that you have no hammer mastery listed is because you have not yet acquired any skills that have the hammer mastery attribute.

i doubt that's the case. Is it really possible to get to lvl 20 and not gain ONE hammer skill?

From what Campaign is this Character?

I know for a fact you can't leave pre-searing as a warrior without at least one Hammer skill...

Nightfall, because of the 3 Sunspear skills.

Go to the Skill Trainer in your Command Post, just outside of Sunspear Sanctuary. You can buy whatever skills you want from there.

That's a Prophecies character, that hairstyle isn't available in Nightfall. You can leave Pre-Searing without getting any other warrior skills besides Frenzy and Healing Signet as long as you have a secondary, if I'm not mistaken. It should be possible not to have any hammer skills by that point.

nope as i have 3 warrior/me mules in post sear with frenzy and healing sig plus the first mesmer skills.

That hair style is a Devona style and you might of missed out in your quests to get your hammer skills.You could of left pre early and passed up the hammer quests.You could also check with the priest of Balthazar to see if you unlocked any if so it maybe a bug contact support.

My character is from Prophecies.

Now i'm fine...needed to buy a skill and got it.Didn't know i got 0 skill for that mastery.

You may want to go back and get those quests you missed as I see on your K panel you are missing a lot of skills if you are lvl 20.You should have way more than that 7 axe skill at lvl 20 no way.

You can easily leave pre-searing without hammer skills...just don't go to the guy that gives you the quest for the hammer skills :P

The basic quests you have to take to leave pre-searing do not include any hammer skills...just tactics and no attribute (frenzy) I believe.

I ran into the same issue as the op on one of my MM Heroes...I was putting Signet of Lost Souls on him and I realized I didn't have a Soul reaping category in skills. Turns out I had unlocked it on my other account and as soon as I acquired the skill...bam...had soul reaping.

You can leave presearing without having at least 1 hammer skill - you just dont take the vineyard quest from Barradin Estate

So, what you're saying is that everytime you went to a new town with a skill trainer, that you never visited him to see if he had anything that you didn't? Wow, you must have a million skill points.

I think you'd really have to be trying in order not to get some of those hammer skills.

LOL, at least he would get some weapon damage. Made me think of this past week when me and a guildie went back to get our masters on Vizunah Square. We got the masters no problem, but after we finished he says "Oops, my Melonni didn't have a weapon equipped."
