I seem to be confused here. I have done at least 10 or more missions and completed them all but when I check my "Hero" tab where it shows how many missions I have done it says I've only done 3/20. I know for a fact I have done more missions than that because I am all the way at the Gate of Desolation for the main story line and after each mission I did I always received a reward. Here is the question, is this a bug or am I missing something here?

You have to get the masters/bonus for it to count toward your title. Did you get all 3 swords on every mission?

The number in the hero tab just counts what missions you've received the master's reward on, it's not a counter for missions completed.

yep, if you fill finish all missions with master's reward you'll get the Protector of Elona Title.

I'm actually new and progressed through the game quickly actually. He told me that I needed to get 20/20 missions done to beat the game and get the best armor?

That isn't true. To complete the Nightfall storyline, you only need to complete 17 of the 20 missions (finishing at Abaddon's Gate). The other 3 missions are in places where the storyline forks. Eventually, you can do all 20 missions and aim for the master rewards for the Protector title.

The "best armor" in the game in terms of armor level can be found starting at the Consulate Docks mission in Istan. You can also get prestige armor sets that look flashier (one of which can only be bought after completing the Nightfall storyline); but prestige armor has exactly the same functionality as regular max armor, despite its much higher price tag.

Not only that, but if you consider the "best" to be the most expensive, rarest, or hardest to get (as you imply) you only need access to the Chantry of Secrets, wait for Favor, and make it to the Forge Master to purchase your Fissure of Woe armor. Well I suppose it is more accurate to say the above plus the materials and gold for it - the materials being on the expensive side (ectoplasm and obsidian shards).

There is a set of 15k armor that is only available after you beat Nightfall, however it is not remotely the rarest or the most expensive and has the same stats as the armor you get in the consulate docks. Other than if you really like the looks I can not fathom how you would define it as the best (personally I find them to be the "best" in a few classes based on looks, but that is personal preference).

It would be real nice if something could be build into the game that could keep track of the missions and quests you have completed in all modes.

I know you can do this out side of the game but when you have multiple characters it makes it a bit harder.

So maybe another screen addition that could show missions and quests yet to be completed for each world would be real helpful.

What do you think?

1. You necroed a ~4 month old thread.
2. Just look at your map! If you're going for Protector/Guardian, you can use the title progression instead.
3. You should've taken it to Sardelac instead.
