My ideal difficulty level within GW for my hard upper limit
RachaelH
Heya folks,
The final quest in Sorrow's Furnace is an ideal difficulty for a hard area in my opinion - there is room for different builds, a cool end boss and a puzzle element to the tactics needed.
The elite areas I find are a bit too long winded (I did clear urgoz and wont be doing it again in a hurry!) and having to constantly wait for rangers to lay traps is a bit much for me; along with the very select groups needed I think it is a bit unfair on the other classes

Maybe I should add 'what is your upper limit for difficulty in the game?'
Additional : I do enjoy hard mode for the tyrian campaign

I agree that Sorrow's Furnace is a pretty decent area in terms ofdifficulty and accessibility. I'm hoping that GW:EN will be similar but with better rewards. (who really needs 10k xp? lol )

Well id rather the reward not be just for heroes:P
I agree that urgoz and other elite missions are way too long.(urgoz is the only one ive actually finished).
DoA seems like a buffed up SF. They both have quests you need to do to get to the harder area.
yay for sf!

I'm hoping we can get skills as quest rewards... thats what I really miss from prophecies...

and I ment that the offhands can be used by players as well just not many people farm things like mesmer ones so maybe would be nice to have a couple as quest rewards

I think I read a line from Anet or Gaile that they are going to re-introduce the concept of skills as rewards. Don't ask me for the quote though, I'm too lazy

Final Assault was hard with only Prophecies skills. Now, with the power creep from Factions and Nightfall, Final Assault is pathetic...
Back when SF was released, I thought the Forgeman was kinda lame. We don't get to fight him; we just quickly kill some Dwarves and kill some Djinn while he annoys us.

I'd love to be able to select an item from a list of fairly good ones as a reward for a quest. They should really include some weapons collectors who will take tokens from the various factions. That way, instead of just grabbing the sup salvage kit, I'd probably upgrade a hero.
