i got banned lol need help

so i tried to logon to play some gw this afternoon, i found out i got banned for using Racial Slurs code 045. I couldn't stop laughing, so phone my fellow friends who also played guildwars they couldn't stop laughing either. The thing is i might use racial slurs as a joke thing in real life but never in a game. The only bad thing i remember doing is saying the F word in guild chat, then the alliance leader told me if i say again i'll get banned, so i spammed it

anyways, ban is temporary. dont know why the game would ban you for something like his though, they do have a parental filter after all

That would be the reason you got banned. Not so much that you said it, but that you spammed it. Just wait until the ban is over, and behave next time.

So someone (your guild leader) asked you not to type vulgar language in guild chat and you decided to spam it?
You deserved the ban, the only disappointing part is that it isn't a permanent ban. Glad to see that reporting works and that the EULA is being upheld.
About time something was done to deal with the childish behavior that is running rampant in this game.

Please contact PlayNC for details on your ban. These threads tend to turn to flamefests pretty quickly, either directed at the poster, or Anet, and much of it is based on speculation.
Aside from that, no regular poster on this forum can help you with the ban, making it a futile discussion. Although some posters contact Gaile, it's advisable to use official avenues first.
