Stance. When wielding a shield, for 1...6 seconds you run 25% faster and have a 25% chance to block projectiles (wands, spears, arrows...). When this stance ends, one adjacent foe is struck for 10...55 blunt damage. (Tactics).
just as a little add-on, the damage effect will not happens if the stance is canceled out by another. This can help reduce a few spikes a little bit.

Neat skill. How about a knockdown instead of damage? That being a knockdown there should be a drawback for something so unconditional.

If knockdown were added here, not many victims would like it and ask for it to be nerfed. That's why I left it out though it makes perfect sense.
Also in a sense this would be better than Shock unless if you really want Conjure Lightning in your build.

Also the blocking is not set to 75% or else this skill would be highly favored over Deflect Arrows which most people find useless anyway.

Add KD. Make it an elite if the whiners get too loud, maybe. If it goes elite, increase blocking to at least 50 percent.
/signed. Like Onarik said, Hammer users have enough KDs. Let's see some more non-hammer KD options.
Question: Would it go in Strength or Tactics? Strength, methinks - this has huge potential for abuse by a warrior secondary.
