Acolyte of Balthazar tweaked?

I was just wondering if it was just me, or if the Acolyte of Balthazar was tweaked to be a little more difficult to kill. I was helping my friend to cap the Elite, and it seemed much harder than before. I capped it about 2 months ago, so I don't know if it was nerfed or tweaked or what. Could anyone tell me if it is just in my head?

I'm not sure i capped mine about 3 months ago, I havn't heard anything on the subject though i'm just guessing you probably used a differant build against him or used differant henchies / heroes or something.

Meh, I don't think so... I mopped the floor with his ass as a B-Surge (out there with a friend who needed it), no harder than usual

I really can't imagine the boss becoming any harder... he's still the same brute force blind-bait attacker he always was.

I can see how you guys can't give any more information, seeing as I don't feel like going into deep explanation of all the party members builds, and the situation we were in in the first place. I will just say that I did as I always did and tried to take out the other Kournan baddies first, and...it didn't turn out so well. We tried for about an hour and a half before we finally wiped the floor with the Acolyte.

i helped my friend 1 week ago.
he didn't become harder, but he does a lot of damage. like 201 by a skill attack, and it's pretty much.
i think he's the harder elite cap.

Just do the same when capping any other avatar...wait for it to wear off then kick his ass.

i did it last week with a friend and it took us about 20 minutes to actually kill him, cos we kept dieing. Mostly because of the other enemys and our dp's too.

EDA Owns his soul. Actually just about any melee shutdown has him solid owned. Earth or Air Ele's could shut him down fast. EDA dervishes could shut him down fast. SS necro's quick kill. The list goes on and on. So no he hasn't been tweaked it's just been two months since you went and tried to kill him. Memory is faulty.

I dunno what so difficult to kill Balth, I killed it with my D (another avatar, dont remember exactly), N (SS+barbs+Reckless and MM hero ), A (Moeb Striker with crit def and crit agility up)... Just take 2-3 monks to heal you and lure him out

Hahaha, this is the QFT for this particular situation. Though I just recently muscled him with my Paragon on HM. "GfTE!",AoF,"ToF!","TnTF!" FTW. Yet, when you can't muscle him down, the best bet is to seperate, dispatch his guard, and hex him down/blind him.

hmm... I capped that a few days ago... with heroes and henchies...
killed adds untill wipe a few times then smashed the acolytes teeth in... I've only had nf for 11 days or so though, so I can't compare the experience... onl time I've killed him
