Add Polls

I looked for a thread that mentioned this idea, but couldn't find one and I'm kind of surprised.

Other forums I used to belong to had the option to add polls.

I think it would be easier to see public opinion in a poll rather than read every post and tally up the /signed or /notsigned posts.

Use it.

There are rules about that /signed /unsigned useless stuff.

Not using the thread rating is wasting you time, mate.

Mithran , no no i think he means other forums have polls instead of having to use the /signed /not signed method.

This forum actually does have polls, but you have to be a core or elite member to make them.

Precisely. We've actually been looking for a vBulletin hack that would automatically create polls with pre-defined options in this forum (like "/signed", "/notsigned", and "Discussion Below"), but so far we haven't found one or been able to write one. If you find one though, feel free to PM a link to me (okay, so you'd be better off PMing it to an admin, but I like to look at nifty vBulletin coding in my spare time, so send me a copy anyway ) and we'll see what we can do.

Until then though, users who want to make polls need to subscribe. I know, I know, [email protected], but hey... We have to keep the server paid for (and hopefully upgrade it eventually) somehow.
