I'm sure Felix the Charr sounded better in Dutch, German, or French, whichever the person who submitted from Belgium spoke. If he submitted it like that in english....
::edit::My favorite would have to Molotov Rocktail, I looked at it for a bit before I realized why it sounded so familiar, then lol'd. Thought it was pretty clever.

Yeah... there's going to be ~7400 people who weren't recognized (including myself) who will all be exclaiming, "WTF?! _That_ name is better than mine?!?"
Of the winners, my personal favorite is "Johon the Oxflinger" (even though it is quite similar to "Yakslapper"). "Felix the Charr" wins my "Puzzled Look Award" for why it got chosen top 10.

Apart from that there's certainly some very Charr sounding name, by that I mean random words containing Z's as opposed to S's and alliteration in the first name and surname.

and to stay on topic......the only way i can think of choosing Felix The Charr must have been because they where so high it was hi-freakin-larious at the time.
I don't mind that I wasn't chosen even for the finals, but heck tell me which you'd prefer, Kubrit Lavaspawn (Kubrit is gunpowder in my language) or.... Felix?

The name is funny and all... :P
But since when do monsters have their own monster-type in their names? I think A-Net will change this a bit, really. Like 'Felix The Charred' (Doesn't go too far from the original, and DOES sound good imo
