Well...with my paragon i always try to keep up
aggressive refrain
mending refrain

both those are reapplied when echo/chant ends
atm to keep em non-stop up i keep using anthem of flame (and not using attk skill) and when in fight using go for the eyes

is their an easier way to be able to maintain these?

i personally just use they're on fire to do the job

They're on Fire! was changed to 10 seconds many moons ago.

Are you having difficulty maintaing them, cuz 'go for the eyes' is about as simple as you can get...

Make sure to check out skill descriptions, because many actions (using spells, attacks, taking damage, etc.) can trigger a premature end to many chants and shouts. There's a bunch of shouts and chants so take a look and find what best suits you.
