just wandering, do Elementalists have any hjealing spells, or is it all attack spells?
Iuris
Every profession has the ability to heal itself. Elementalists have an enchantment that heals them whenever they cast a spell.

Necromancer/Monk is a very popular class.
Having Monk as a secondary profession is beneficial for many builds and can help you and members of your party survive.
The important thing is that you try it out and find out what it is capable of, if you feel like creating a Necro/Monk then go ahead. See how you can use the skills.

so any ways, I think I have decided to go with Necromancer/Elementalist, but I was wandering, and I know this isnt in the correct forum, but has any one else ever ran into this problem, I wen tto install my game and I cant, it goes to the screen that says "Connecting to ArenaNet" and then gets all the way to the top on the progress bar, and then freezes, and never moves again
I have been letting the people at NCPlay or whatever it is called look into it and have done a bunch of crap to my computer to speed it up, and I am now wondering, do I have to be on the guild wars web site to play the game, or do I just have to be online, and if I do have to be on the guild wars web siote, then I will have to get my parents to un-block it, b/c I have parental blocks on my scren name, does anybody know if the blocks might have anything to do with it?

Ultra Mega
Could be your firewall. You may need to allow GW.exe to access the internet.

The installation issue sounds familiar. Check if it's this:
GW starts up in two phases. First, it launches the client and the client checks for updates, displaying a progress bar as it downloads update information. Then, it should exit and start again, this time actually downloading the updates. This would take a much longer time, as there is much more to download.
I know that some security programs may jump in at the start of the second stage. For example, SpyBot's resident protection will stop the downloading.
Of course, it's not possible for us to determine which of the many programs you may have installed might be causing trouble. I'd suspect Antivirus or Antispywares in the first line.
However, if your parents have you on PG controls, I'm sure not telling you to exit any of those. Ask your mom/dad to look into the matter for you.
