Game Modding

Hi, just yesterday i stumbled upon this:

I am wondering if any has ever done it? and is it safe for your account or will it your account banned? Could some shed some light to this topic?

Anything that does not interfere with gameplay i.e. Bots etc. is ok as ArenaNet say -
"As a general rule of thumb, we don't mind if you do things like this to make your own playing experience more fun. Some people really like to mod, and we recognize that this can often be a valuable learning tool.

But do not expect ArenaNet Support if you screw things up! lol

Ah, thanks for clearing that up, well, i dont expect Anet to help me if i do screw up, i've modded other games before.
