Concept Skill: Lone Wolf {elite}
gameshoes3003
Lone Wolf {elite}
10 energy
30 second recharge time
Elite Stance. If there are no (living) allies nearby (includes pets), for 10...21 seconds, you attack 33% faster and are not affected by conditions. (Beast Mastery).

Xenex Xclame
Hmm melandrus for rangers but even better?
This skill alone could make thumpers become better then hammer warriors.

Chronos the Defiler
unless since it is called "Lone Wolf" you can add a suffix like "Cannot have a pet active."
Snow Bunny
Yeah...there'd have to be some sort of disadvantage to this skill. At least incorporate the "Lone" part of it. It'd be interesting if this skill could only be activated while you had a pet wolf with you, or something.
tenshi_strife
"as long as there are no allies within earshot" that would be interesting lol
gameshoes3003
added onto skill to clear up misunderstandings.

I like this skill idea. Its power is balanced out by the fact you cant have multiple front liners with it all ganking the same target.
Only OP problem I forsee is sins...but then again this takes out SP, so it should be fine against well organized teams.

i sense farmers, it would be abused simple as that... and monks have it hard enough without rangers being "Lone Wolves" in random or team arena... everyone over-extends from monks as it is, don't need this skill so people can over-extend all the time, and farming will be rigged with it

It wouldn't really be an elite-worthy skill. In PvP, with a bow, this will see no play, and with a hammer RaO will definately be used over it because of the ease in activating it and the movement speed boost; if you have to fall all the way back past your monks to activate it (unless you're the only frontliner in the build which is rare) you're already going to waste a good 10 seconds before you can actually get back into a pressuring position. As for PvE, barrage/traps are more viable in terms of soloing.
Maybe make it like a kinda VoD boost? I see problems but it's hard with an idea like this. Cool idea though!
EDIT: I forgot about X/R characters. Well, since they are losing their elite, it should be ok.

But where would you farm with this skill?
It's a stance that can be taken off with something like wildblow.
It has a 21 second down time.
It's in Beast Mastery.
If you got 12 points in Beast Mastery, how many points do you have in another attribute with a healing skill?
Overall, I think this skill is fine.

Better to mitigate farming with more balanced groups of monsters then nerfing potentially good skills just because an extra 1k/hour can be made in location Z.
The Lurch
When I first read this i got the impression of IWAY on steroids.
Like someone else said, with a bow, this is almost completely pointless. And there are better IAS's out there. So I really don't like this skill. Good idea though, being the only one alive in your party is a great skill idea (that wasnt sarcasm)

Rampage as One + Lone Wolf
doesn't matter if your pet dies first, if you can get your pet far away enough, you're int he clear.
A Leprechaun
Hmm, it seem like it could be abused by other classes quite easily, maby up the energy cost so rangers get the benefit from expertise while other classes would struggle?
