10 hour trials with preorder questions

First off I appologize if this was covered, I looked around I can't find anything exactly like it.

Basically I have factions and preordered eye of the North. So now I have the 14 day 10 hour trial (which I indend to use all 10 hours so basically the 10 hour trial)

I think what I'm going to do is use my factions characters and head to Tyria and Elona from Kaineng.

Now that's 10 hours for each area right? And the timers only ticking when I'm in that area, not when I'm messing around in factions for instance?

In my case, the timer started the moment I pre-ordered, at least it appeared that way. I already have all three campaigns, so didn't need the trial, but I did get the countdown notices on my screen.

And also the countdown will be ticking no matter where you are. So if you want to play in both Tyria and Elona you can basically only play 5 hours at each place.

One other question, if I aquire skills can I keep them after the trial period? Cause if so, I'm going after Jagged horror and a long list of others for my necro.

They'll be unusable once the trial ends, waiting for you to pay some $$$ to get the game and release them from their bondage

Thanks, even though it's not good news. Now I can finally get on there and mess around accomplishing nothing lol. Still not a bad deal for $5 preorder. So if I spend like 10k on skills it's just gone after the trial?

They just become locked, you will still have them, you will just not be able to use them, when you eventually buy nightfall or prophecies they will become available for us again.

Even playing a secondary profession from a chapter you do not own will count on your 10 hours. Unlocked 10 Faction-hours, played P/Rt in Nightfall, and after 5 hours of Assassin'ing in Factions, my time was suddenly up.
