wts = party search?

Why is this happening?
I type wts and i do a party search with a very limited line....
I sepose i got a ban for spamming in normal chat but if i can type only a few words with the wts command then its very obvious why i did in the normal chat....
And what the **** is the difference anyway in kaineng center?

It's all because people like you abused the local chat.

There's a lot of trade chat going on, it's plainly visible. As long as it's kept in the trade channel, this is bearable as anyone not interested in trading at the time can simply turn the trade channel off.

However, some people kept on posting trade chat in the local channel, making it impossible to use the local chat for its intended use. As the problem became unbearable, Anet took steps to combat this.

First, Anet began to actively enforce the trade chat use restrictions, which is why you are so surprised because your violation got sanctioned.

Second, Anet now automatically transfers all trade messages (recognized by the WTB, WTS and similar) into the party search.

Suggestion: instead of being stubborn and just avoiding the filter, rather adapt to the system and use it. It offers several advantages: no need to repost to remain visible and your offer is visible across districts.

Oh, and try to write in full english. Your posts are very hard to understand.

First: The warning is supplied on the login screen. Read it.

Second: I'm not english either. So I bloody well know when someone is having trouble with a language and when someone is intentionally abusing it. Writing "u" instead of "you" is not a part of being a non-native speaker. The opposite. You learned it properly the first time you were learning the language, but later consciously switched to the slang. The price is that your posts are harder to understand and that you look immature. Same as your cursing someone that calmly joined the debate you yourself started.

You had a warning - right on the login screen, in fact. Therefore, they assumed that you ignored the warning or didn't care, and proceeded to the next level, which is understandable. The trade chat is called that for a reason, and it should have gone there. I don't like being redirected to the party search window, but until they can fix that so it works acceptably, you have to learn to adapt to it.

And don't insult people asking about you using English. Yes, English is not everyone's first language, but firing insults at him is not going to make the situation any better. As for the difference, you can google that yourself but American English and English, while very, very similar, do have differences.

He's not the one who needs to understand. He's making a simple request of you, and a simple "Sorry but English isn't my first language" would have probably taken care of it.

First warning occured when they redirected WTS and WTB to Trade Channel. Spammers (about two steps below telemarketers) found a way around that filter. Warning is given in your log-in screen about spamming, but low lifes continue the practice. So .... you get banned. GOOD! There is a special chat channel if you want to buy and sell. The local chat is not for that. Lesson learned? Probably not. Now you are spamming the forums with your excrement.
They also limited the amount of text for people LFG. Thank you spammers, for trying your hardest to screw things up for everyone.

I did'nt had a warning
My game was running and i was doin a price check here.
When i returned my game was logged off and i was banned.
Go look in kaineng center no one uses local chat there.....
Its not my fault i have lots to sale and that they made the wts party search that limited in words

So .... someone needs to smack you upside the head with a 2x4 before you get the message? YOU WERE WARNED MORE THAN ONCE, but you ignored it. Break the speed limit, even though others are doing it and if you get caught .... YOU pay the fine. Get over it and learn the lesson.

And I don't give a rat's red ass if others are breaking the rules. It doesn't make it right. Got It?? If you get caught you pay the price.

Now .... on to other threads where I might actually be able to help someone with at least half a brain.

If you ignore the speed limit sign you have no one to blame but yourself.

Because the warning was displayed when you run the game. On the login screen, under announcements. It was left up for enough time for everyone active to see and read it. Those not active enough to see it really should go and read the updates on the official site to find this sort of thing out!

But yeah the warning was there. As others have said as well, just because someone else was doing it doesnt mean you should. GG to Anet for enforcing their policy tbh.

The warning was a public announcement. You fail to read those at your own peril.

And personally, I'd rather you stop playing the game and go to the stock market if you want to engage in commerce, kwiet. Just try not to cause a crash.

You spammed, they saw you. You went off to get a price check. They went off to arrange your ban. You may not have been spamming at the moment of the ban, but as you have admitted you did spam before that. That is why you are currently banned. You will find little sympathy amongst most players as the majority realise the rules are there for a reason

I didnt say logged off, I assumed you would have alt tabbed like most of us. The warning (As I have mentioned in another thread) was up for a few weeks, if you missed it thats your own fault still, ignorance isnt an excuse as they say. Breaking a rule even if you arent aware of it is still breaking a rule.

If you didn't see it or decided to ignore it doesn't matter in this situation.

Theres some points to see here:

1)They put the warning on the login screen.
2)We have a trade channel
3)Any sentences with wts/wtb are send to Trade chat.

So you could have:
1) Read the warning.
2) Used the Trade Channel , after all, you are trading, people that want to trade will look in Trade channel.
3)Not ignored the automated redirection, it does that for a reason after all.

Yes even if Party Search isn't really great for multiple stuff or long descriptions,but even then you should still use the Trade Channel.

BTW I think the Temp bans Anet gives out is warning enough.
