Bumping - This is becoming an issue again, please read.

So, as the titles states this is about bumping. People not abiding by the bump rule in PC forum is on the up once again. I get half (if not more) of my rule violators here.

I don't know why this is, the rules are very clear.

You are allowed to bump once every 24 hours. This DOES NOT mean it's a daily bump! 24 hours means 24 hours.

Example:

Thread posted at 11PM 2/8/2007 your are then required to wait until 11PM on the 3/8/2007 before you can bump. We might (depends on mod) let a 10-15 minute early bump slide, no more then that though! keep this is mind, is bumping 20-30 mins early really worth the chance of being banned for x amount of days?

You might not think bumping 20-30 minutes early is a lot, but if everyone starts to do it, it does becomes an issue, so zero tolerance is taken.

What is classified as a bump?

ANYTHING posted in your thread before the 24 hour period is up. This includes:

* Saying thankyou etc (it's appreciated by the PCers but it's still an illegal bump, send them a PM instead)

* People posting "close thread". Yes, this is an illegal bump, there is no reason for you to post in the thread. If you want a thread closed you either PM a mod or edit your OP and type "please close".

* Replying to a persons PC/answering questions. You have an edit button, please use it.

If you are unsure on any of the rules posted in any of the Ventari's sub-forums, then shoot me a PM. I will answer any question you have, even if you consider it small or dumb.

PS - Please, report violations. Out of the people I submit for bans maybe 20% of them were actually reported, the rest I found while browsing threads. We rely a lot on people reporting rule violations, the easier you make our job, the more pleasant your stay in Ventari's will be.
