move character/items

Hello. I have a couple of questions.
I played on someone else account and now i bought my own account.
I don't know if the gm`s will move my character, i don`t want any trouble, but i`m interesed if i delete the caracter, then make another with the same name, all the customized items will work on the new character? anyone did this ?

No Anet will not move characters around, not even if you have two accounts and want one transfered to the other one.

If you delete the old character its name will be reserved for the account that it was made on for 1 hour if i remember correctly, after that its free for all, so you ask your friend to delete the character then wait 1 hour and make it on your account.

Customized weapons are only usable the the character they were costumized for, making another character with the same name will not allow you to use the weapons,The name that you see next to costumized is just so we can make a distinguish, the game however save them with a number so the weapon is costumized for character and that character only

i was afraid that the items are not only customized with the name was too easy ...
well that`s it..start all over again, always is fun and different with a new character

But you can transfer bags, gold, noncustomized weapons and other stuff to the new one.

you can also salvage off any upgrades off of those customized weapons if you like unless they're greens of course
