Hello everyone.

I hope that someone can help me understand something that I saw while indulging in some Alliance Battles.

Please let me know if I am mistaken. It is my understanding that while in an AB, there are a few control points that can provide an NPC that will follow you and fight with you until it either dies or the control point has switched control to the other team.

I saw an opposing team member with 2 NPC elementalists. When I asked them how they did this, the first reply was "I went to both shrines." There is only one elementalist control point. When I pointed this out, they said that it just "glitched"....I just let it slide.

In the very next battle that I joined, I saw another opposing team member with 2 NPC monks following them far from the control point. I understand that an NPC monk may stray a bit from the contol point to cast a spell, but not that far, and not 2 of them. (I could still see all the other monks at their respective control points) To top it off, when the monk control points were under my teams control, the other teams NPC monks still remained and were still following one of the other teams players.

I hope someone can shed some light on this subject for me. I am very confused.

Thank you.

The NPC monks like to follow. I once had the two from the Res Orb Shrine chase after me all the way to the attack point, on the other side of the map.

It's also possible to have the Elite Elementalist die, quickly retake the shrine, and use a res orb to have two of them.

I can understand the elementalist explaination. But, how is it that I saw the res orb shrine monks at their shrine AND at the same time the 2 NPC monks following a player? A total of 5 NPC monks in play at one time (including the res shrine monk).

Shrines changing sides often will result in new NPC's being spawned in a short time period, and if the corpses are still around when you use a res orb you could end up with more than normal. As for NPC monks following ppl, they will follow and constantly spam healing spells on targets that need it. So if there are allies that need healing they will just keep following. This applies to minions as well, so MM's can drag NPC monks around without much effort.
