I know they drop from Aflicted, but is there any build ( team or solo ) do to farm those damn ugly things?
Except for chest running for the weapons, i would like to farm them.

Well... The afflicted are bitches to farm for several reasons.
Constant enchant removal - Order of Apostasy and whatever the mesmers bring.
High damage - Death Blossom, Mind Burn, Lightning Orb... etc.
Daze - yup.
Blind - double yup.
Oh, and they can heal and rez, too.
... aaand that lovely Soul Explosion.
Tbh... The only thing I've thought about that *might* be able to (solo) is an A/E or E/A Shadow Form nuker.
Maybe someone 'pro' at farming can think of something though... Dunno about team builds, either ^_^

Dont think it works... Tested in NM with explosions but the killed me almost and i died from disease

I got quite a few plagueborn drops doing HM Vizunah square even with a lot of heroes. Maybe you could try vanquishing some afflicted mobs?

A/E and E/A works, well it works in Sunjang explorable. tho main thing is to kill constructs, but no problem purging some afflicted souls on the way. NM - shadow refugee and keep whacking. HM - feigned neutrality is the solution.

I found out that 55/SS Monk works very good and 55/SS Necro also works very well and 55/105 or 330hp Rt very good also in Sunjang Explorable. No enchantments removals execpt for OOA on HM.

Well lads, I say post those Plagueborn builds for the farming of both Modes.
Both builds of course, meaning there should be four build posted (two for E/A, two for A/E)

Eh I like the Monk and Rt better than A/E or E/A you can take out alot of the area and there a path for you to take to get most out of the place.

you can solo em (with 55) in some low lvl areas on hard mode (when necs dont spawn in the same party as rangers/warrs, so their order doesnt work)
try the explorable of minister cho's estate.
