Guild Name Changer

I don't know if this has ever been suggested, sorry if it has.

I was wondering if A-Net would implement an NPC that could change the name of your guild. I have a very strong desire to change my guild name because members don't like it and it's become a hinder on recruiting. I realize that an easy solution is to make a new guild, but I've put hundreds of thousands of gold into my guild hall and the 2k for the cape. I don't have very much money now and definitely not enough to re-buy everything and transfer all my members to a new guild. I don't care if the NPC charged you for the service, in fact it might be better that way to avoid people changing their guild names all the time so it would only be out of necessity. I would be very grateful if this was implemented because all my work would not have gone to waste over a stupid name. Thanks.

lol, when ur people don't like ur guilds name ..kick them simple is that...

The members should respect the guild and its name, not the other way that the your name of your guild gets changed, because only some of ur members dont like its name ..

When they dont like its name, then they don't like the guild itself and maybe only some people in it ... who don't likes the guilds name, imo can't be a loyal player.

However, in other fact ive nothing against it too, it would be a nice way for people, which have for example mispellings in their guild names and wish simple to correct the failure ...

so signed, but only when this change gets some sort of duration, so that a guild can change for example its name only every (x) month(s)

Unfortunately I guess that kind of change wouldn't be possible, seeing that ANet can't even change names which break Rules of Conduct to keep gained guild rank/rating (they can set tag [ban] on them though).

Also /not signed even if it was possible, because it would support idea having "some funny sounding sentence" in the place of a guild name when you could change it back to more normal name after a while. (Ie. ones that are used for HoH announcements...)

Your second paragraph is the reason I suggest there be a price for changing the name and as Phoenix said, a time limit. The price could even rise every time the name was changed. Make it a substantial price like 5 or 10k for the first time. That would definitely deter potential abusers.

Well... our guild was name to be the leader guild of an alliance... but later n we disanded. Not it has a 'Leage' on its name. It would be nice to remove it.

The guild creating character could allow one name change each quarter or once a year, much like account names can be changed once month.
