I am always struggling with the concept of time zones
 Help me out please. The sneak peak weekend will start August 24, 2007 at 12:01 AM Pacific time (-7 GMT) and will end August 26, 2007 at 11:59 PM Pacific time. Friday 12.01 AM PST equals = Thursday 05.01 PM GMT right? Which means for me (Amsterdam = GMT+2 (incl. DST +1)) it will start at 07.01 PM Thursday 23. Is this correct?

I'm glad you posted that, Suuk. I didn't even think about the differfent time zone! My plan was to stay up late and be on for event, but now it looks like I'm better off getting up really early LOL.
I found a time zone converter: http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc Maybe that can help you and anyone else. Still confusing because the answer I get from messing with windows' clock is different from this one.

I'm not sure how to write it in 24 hour time, so excuse the mess. lol 0001 (1 minute after midnight) + 9 hours = 0901 European time. The time difference from US Pacific to Central European Time is +9 hours. Honour_Shogun
Forgive me if this has been answered before, but I have seen the trailer and it says content for level 20's, but has it ever been clarified if you HAVE to be level 20 to access GWEN? For example, if you are level 15, will you be barred from it? I only ask because if I can get in at a lower level I will purchase the pre-order pack for my second account. Two computers going at the same time playing GWEN. Good Gravy it will be amazing

Its aimed at lvl20's but you dont have to be lvl 20. I have a quote from a dev but i CBFd finding it.

Eh I tried using the time zone converter but it came up with different times. I live in Michigan so I believe we're Eastern. Could someone who knows how to translate that mumbo jumbo help me out with the local time the event starts?

Wow, I only just realised how soon this thing is. I'm very excited about this.
I'm still on holiday at the moment, so I'll have plenty of time to play, but unfortunately the two people I always play the game with will be working on Friday, so I won't get much of a chance to play much until later that day. I guess I can use a different character to check everything out first though.I'm really hoping we'll be able to buy some of the new armour during this, but that seems unlikely, considering they're locking everything off after the event until it actually goes live. But come on, how much could having that armour hurt? My ranger badly needs a decent set. Argon Draeth

Dutch gaming website Gamer.nl is running a giveaway where they have 2000 codes for the preview weekend up for grabs.
The codes double as triple trial codes for people who are new to the game. Head over to http://www.gamer.nl/doc/41286 to get yourself a code (or more if you have multiple e-mailaccounts ).The site is in Dutch, but the confirmation e-mail will be in english. Codes will be send out tomorrow. Look for the box in the right column that says "Eye of the North sneak-peek codes" and enter your e-mailaddress. Don't worry, it's only used to send you the code To the moderators: I'm not trying to promote my website here (not much sense as most people won't be able to read it), just trying to get some of the codes to the real fans. Our readers have gotten a day headstart and yet there are plenty of keys still available.

What will happen to items we put on the new heroes after the weekend is over? Will we simply have to wait until the release to access them again or will they be dumped to the players inventory?
