Right now I'm running the following build in AB:
Fast Casting 10 + 1 + 3
Inspiration 8 + 1
Fire Magic 12
Radiant Armor
+15/-1energy staff
Fire Attunement
Mantra of Recovery
Immolate
Fireball
Auspicious Incantation
Rodgort's Invocation
Glowing Gazeestoration
Fire Storm
For players I just cast the spells in order for the most part. I'll cast Fire Storm on eles who get complacent while torching NPCs. For NPCs, I'll go Fire Storm/Fireball/AI/RI, though if there's a mesmer its more like Fire Storm/Fireball/run awaaay.
It seems to work very well, as Immolate, Fireball and GG recharge very very fast. I can usually outduel Eles. I'll have already hit them with immolate and fireball and run out of the way before their MS comes down. Monks don't stand too good of a chance either. Even if they can survive for a few seconds, the constant pressure on them prevents their allies from receiving any of their spells.
There are downsides though. I have zero healing for one, but I don't think I can fit any in. Aura of Restoration is available, but what would I take out? Maybe Glowing Gaze. I get all the mana I need from AI/RI unless AI gets interrupted, in which case I'm in a bit of trouble. Also, D/any or any/D can outlast my damage and toast me. Mystic Regen is too tough for me to overcome. I am a Mesmer, so I could pack anti-enchantment, and I've been thinking about it actually, just to spite those damned Dervishes. I'm also a sitting meatbag for Sins, especially Blades of Steel. Too much damage too fast.
Any critiques or suggestions you have would be appreciated! Remember, I pretty much only play AB. No TA or RA for me.

I'm not quite sure how to take the lack of responses. A solid build? Seen it too many times?
Either way, since the recent buff occurred with Rodgort's Invocation (recharge down to 5sec), this build has become even more volatile. I can go MoR/Ri/Ai/Ri to get 200 non-armored dmg in three seconds for free (basically).
One thing I don't quite understand, though, is why after the 2nd casting of Rodgort does it take the full five seconds to recharge, even if MoR is still active? Does GW have a spam protection measure that I haven't read about?

I usually play Me/E in AB as well. I don't have a feel for the effectiveness of your build since I haven't played it before, but I would be surprised if it can take down the two monk res orb shrine.

I generally try to stay away from Searing Flames and Savannah Heat though, if only because they get used so often by others that I like to change things up. MoR really does help to speed things up. Also, I've dropped Glowing Gaze for Flame Djinn.

Considering the level of players and play in AB, anything works well in AB.
Shrine nuking and FC nuking is common, I'd throw in a self heal and a speed buff.
