Gruff
you can mix and match the common ones and ones from your primary proffession as you wish, ie 5 different insignias on one person

Yes, we can put deifferent insignia on different part of the armor. The bonus won't be global, and will only affect that part of the armor. And pls don't shoot me.

Just a suggestion, when you apply your Insignias, you should also think about where you place them. For example, you have a Blessed Insignia (+10Armor While Enchanted) and a Radiant Insignia (+3 Energy on Chest Armor, +2 on Leg Armor, and +1 on any other armor). To maximize the effect, you should put your Radiant Insignia on your chest, and your Blessed Insignia anywhere else except for leg armor, in case you get another Insignia like the Radiant one.

Not as simple as Fujin presents it.
Whenever you take a hit, you take it in a random location. Only the armor there will defend against the hit.
The chances are not even, but chest is the most commonly hit, followed by the legs.
That is the reason the insignia differ in effect depending on where you put them. The chest slot will yield more energy with radiant insignia precisely because a blessed insignia there would protect you more often.

Nope. Armor adding insigna affects the part it is in.
For example, non-target spells like Immolation almost always hit the chest, and never the hands.
There are insignia that give effects that do not depend on place, like Liutenant's and Bloodstained. But other do depend on place put. The better options usually are Armor in chests and legs, and energy/other in head, hands and feet.
