the game has enough lag, i would rather not be killed or sucker punch someone who is lagging from a bunch of show-offs.

If they show in outposts and PvE but not in PvP is for one reason.

Minipets have models that have to be loaded.
Since in PvP you may find players of all campaigns, you may force, for eample, a NF only owner to download the whole lich, charr, titan, etc models if he haven't seen them before.
