I don't think I've ever seen a max stats item with a req lower than 9.

before nightfall there were many max req8 items around but ever since it was released i haven't seen any item below req9 with max stats.

Req 8 Max Items still drop in Nightfall
Req 7 Drop in Tyria and Cantha (or at least used too but havnt spotted one since)

I know for a fact req. 8 inscriptables exist... i've got a req. 8 Divine Symbol gathering dust in storage.

They're just a touch uncommon.
(how much are they worth, anyway? :$)

i have got a few max blue req8's that are inscribable, dought they are worth anything though

I've had a couple of req 8 max offhands. A purple bone idol and, more recently, a gold flame artifact. I merched the bone idol and I doubt the flame artifact is worth anything, because of the rather bland skin. Keeping it for now, though.

I've yet to see a weapon.

I have had a 15-22, Gold, Req8 Fiery Gladius, Nightfall, Inscribable.
Yes, they do exist, but they are very rare.

I know for sure that req. 8 and especially req. 7 are rare. req. 7s have... an extremely low chance in dropping in either Tyria or Cantha, and the lowest max damage you can get in Elona is req. 8.

I got a max shield req 8, but it was only a white.
