Barragers in DoA ?

Sorry if this had been posted before but I searched and found nothing.

I'm looking forward completing the Domain of Anguish with my ranger or dervish but these two classes just don't fit into the typical tank/nuker/monk team. Yes, my R could take Famine with him and get in almost any team but I can't since Famine is a Factions skill and I don't have the chapter My dervish could maybe do the tanking job but tanking really don't appeal me. Since the july 17th update (wich adjusted the difficulty in DoA) I've been wondering if it could be possible for a normal barrage/pet team like the ones we see in ToPK to complete the DoA's areas. I'm asking because I couldn't find anyone who's willing to try.

So what do you think ? Could it be possible for a barrage/pet team to complete any of the 4 areas ? Anyone wanna give it a try ?

What are you talking about? If I had a Dervish in DoA (I have only Ranger...) I would use Tank build right away... Obsidian Dervish was made very soon after introducing DoA, if not faster.
But I guess that not b/p, but rather Splinter Weapon + Barrage... But because you dont have Factions, I guess that you can just go with dervish and learn how to tank. And no, none of the areas can be done as b/p. Too big damage, too many spellcasters, there ARE healer... Just won't do.

In other parts of the thread they describe they got to mallyx using more of a barrage/splinter weapon setup.

Barrage/splinter...yes yes
But if a gang of baddies comes at you wearing t-shirts that say:

TRY not to explode that bunch..kinda gets........messy.
