Dragon festival farming builds
Roshi_ikkyu
The last thread was locked due to the festival being over, since I lack the powar to unlock thread I'll have to start a new one
Can anyone post builds to assist with farming the quest for the dragon festival, I remember some pretty amazing golds were discovered.
I'm really interested in a dervish build, and maybe a warrior one.
Anyone?

Bloodied Blade
If the dragon festival quest in-question was on the starter island, I think practically any generic farming build with a run skill would do.

You can solo the Naga with a few professions... but to do the whole run quickly, you will have to do a dual run. Have one person have a build for farming the Naga, and another person with different build made for killin the Grasp. I'm sure a E/A or A/E build can do the whole run solo, but that would take you aloooong time to complete.

my sin was able to kill both naga and graspings with a hero monk bonder and i ended up getting a Req 11 Gold Sunqua blade, a gold bo staff (fire not that it matters), and luckily im assuming a black dye from a graspings.
on the flipside, my rit/mo was easily able to take out all naga solo, but cant take out the graspings (no enchants), so i think i might just slice his secondary to mes/sin/drv/para, and have a hero monk bond him from a distance

I think this might be able to solo both if you change the attributes a bit and put bring Mantra of Frost for the Naga eles, then use Physical Resistance when fighting the grasps..dunno if it would work, but worth a shot.

This works great on the naga, but I can't even come close to killing a grasp. They interrupt alot of skills and boom your dead. Any tips?

Load up your enchants just outside of agro range, then hit echo and take a step forward. As they run toward you, hit Sliver armor - before you take any hits - this should nearly do the trick for a solo mob, it will kill one and weaken the second of a pair.
Cast the echo'd sliver while you're still under cover of the first sliver armor, this will give you a chance to block in case Fingers of Chaos is still working.
It doesn't work 100% every time for me, but this is about the closest I can get.
