Petition To Change Favour System Back

Ok i don't know if this can go here but if it can't mods please move.

After sitting in TOA many hours having allready got titles on loads of chars i realised this new system is rubbish it can't possibly work so therefor i have started this petition to put a end to it.

I counted over 80 Monks.Necros with nothing to do in TOA this is just wrong people want to farm so let them farm either by having no favour (which would be the best way as its equal then) or by the old system.

I rest my case so anyone in favour of no favour system or back to the old one pls post here now and hopefully Gaile or Anet will see this and the matter will be resolved soon.

Well now you know how the non europeans felt when they didn't have favour 80% of the time. Go farm some scrolls?

Well - since I am Euro changing back doesn't completely suck - BUT I'd much prefer something different.
Something that the players himself does and THAT grants him access - either permanent or temporarily.
So that we don't need to rely on others for our fun!
Or just remove it ...

yeah, i'm not sure why they even bother to keep any kind of 'favor' requirement. haven't really gone to fow or uw since shortly after they added the nightmares in uw...but those update notes looked like someone took one too many bong hits before creating the title system.

It was bad enough for Americans who wanted to do elites during a reasonable time of day. Could you imagine how much crap it was for Taiwan and Japan who barely ever had favor? The system really just didn't work. We'll see how the new way pans out.

I'd like it to be changed back....but only cos im European. You can always farm hydra's on hm as a 55

FOW and UW are meant to be elite areas. Favour was meant to be an achievement.

Not a given, Perhaps those 80 monks and Necro will consider doing something besides ecto farming! If there not a gold-seller employee they could easily find a group with someone who has a scroll.

/signed because with the last system, Japanese people at least had a little chance to go to UW/FoW.

It's a step in the right direction, but it has almost turned grinding into a necessity. And it's only the top rank of a title. Does anet know how long it takes to get up there? Titles are finite. The players streaming in, however, are not. Eventually the supply of players will dry up, and no one will achieve max titles anymore, and that means no more favor.

I SORT OF sign this... because the old system was even worse... however, the current system is not much better.

does this is game created for farm?? hmm dont think so, those monks necros can do some other stuff while waiting? or even go farm something else while just sit there? i dont get it why ppl are so into UW farm.....

This new system actually makes sense, unlike how PvP governs elite PvE zones. Which didn't make sense.

Give it a chance. It's been less than a day. They made a good faith effort to fix what many view as a problem. It's not fair that any region should be virtually shut out of an area of the game, and that's what was happening. At least give this the weekend and give yourself the chance to form more than an impulsive opinion on the matter.. I think that's only fair.

I've been on for just over 2 hours, and we've just picked up favour for the second time. 50% access is 3-4 times more than what I'm used to so.

we have all whined about favor for 2 years...now they make changes and people say oh but we really like the old system.... if you can't get in... Go buy a scroll or farm one...

The old system was broke and Anet knows it. This is their attempt to fix it. I'm sure they're basing the new system on data they've collected and seriously doubt they've picked these titles and numbers randomly out of a hat.

I think we need to give it a fair chance before we start passing judgment.

yes now japan and taiwan have no chances at all of going in, so /signed for the sake of our fellow gamers.

Equal random access for everyone instead of all-Europe all-the-time is just a bit more fair.
