Money no longer good with Kurzicks

So, funny story...
Busted my little behind to get to Vasburg so's I could buy my first set of 15K. Finally make it. Yea!! But I'm a little skint on funds. Only had about 25K so I figure I'll start with the attire first. "Course, it's not just the plat...it's the materials as well. I've got nada in amber. But wait! I read on the Wiki that I can cash in those faction points that I'm not really doing anything with anyway. Bingo! I've got ten chunks of amber and just need a few more..So I go to the trader to get some and.....
Trader won't give the time of day.
None of the Kurzick merchants will. I'm guessing it's because I've cashed in all my faction points to buy amber. Now that's just sick. Talk about Gift of the Magi..
I'm sure this is common knowledge to all but noobs like me, but I did'nt see anything in the Wiki about needing to have 10K faction just to use the Kurzick merchants. What's up? Do I just need positive Kurzick faction, or do I need to grind for another 10K?

All you need bud is positive kurzick faction

You only need to have more Kurzick faction than Luxon faction to talk to Kurzick NPCs. I guess that you have 0 Kurzick faction and some Luxon faction.

All you need is at least 1 kurzick faction or more kurzick then luxon faction to use kurzick npcs.

But if the outpost is controlled by the Luxons (and it happens pretty frequently now) you need to have more Luxon faction, otherwise even Kurzick npcs won't talk to you.

Not armor NPCs. They don't change with the Town/Outpost.

house zu heltzer or cavalon cant be owned by opposing clan. so yea, like other people have stated, you need to have more faction then the oppisite clan to use merchants and traders in the capitals

He's talking about Vasburg Armory, that's where the 15k armor is.

Yep the other guys are right, and so are you too, it s huge relief to find out you hadnt messed it up somehow, like i thought so too..

And ive played the game for nearly 2 years and I didnt know until i panicked in guild chat!!
Swearing at the screen and shouting on Teamspeak didnt get me far either........other than STFU ! lol
Just do a run out of lutgardis, get some faction in and youll be fine
