battle scars

i think it would be awesome if players could get unique sets of battle scars from battle yet considering you cant dodge attacks in this game maybe they could tie a radom set of scars with say the gladiator tittle track. in a sense it wouldnt only be cool but it would make your character more weathered phisically, wearing them could be optional in case anyone finds having scars degrading though i would have them not only to custumize my character but also to look more like a survivor. similarly you know it would be cool if they incorporated something that altered your physical appearance slightly for tittle tracks such as seeker of wisdom where you would look more enlightened and also as you progressed through ranks you could get meditaion emotes and ultimately a levitation emote or something. similarly incorporate a unique roar emote for advanced gladiator. could make farming tittles more fun as well as sort of beeing able to define your characters path by beeing able to alter them physically slightly.

Along the same lines, do you think they could make you character look more zombie like with the more deaths you accumulate? (Maybe by just tweaking the green value in the pigment). I've always thought that it would be neat to have an appearance or emote to display titles since I rarely actually see peoples title in outposts.

yeah, i mean it would be awesome if your character would physically echo your tittles or exprience/ skills at some level, especially to be able to get an idea what type of char other people have when seeing them outside of outposts.

This happens in Fable. As your character gets older and takes more hits, he gets more and more scars running across his face, chest, and back. It'd be an interesting feature, but implementing it into the current Guild Wars game would be a disaster.
Just imagine, someone who has a character over a year old or more does a little bit of looting and sees a scar marring his/her face. Well, some people wouldn't give a damn, but what about those that doted over the way their character looked like?

Hm...
Make a necromancer... you'll get planty of scars... if you have the money to pay them...
The problem with scars is that most of the time you can't decide to get them or not, you have them.
And, believe me, most female Elementalist and Mesmer users will hate it.

scars is just an example doesnt have to be scars but something that alters you physically if you wear certain ranks. getting unique emotes along with the really pain in the behind ranks to get would also be cool and not that big of a programing challenge. like all that work for a little tittle that appears under you name in towns and outposts makes all that work seem less gratifying.
