Rollerbeetle Racing Top100?

Hello there,
Ive been around playing that addictive mini-game for hours since the first time appeard, and I used playing it just for fun, and for some tokens....

But yesterday Ive decided to play it seriously and gain access in top 100...
until now my top scores are around 470, but sadly its not enough

Lately Ive noticed that most top100 scores are duplicates of the same 10 names, and if rumors about prices for top 100 score are true...those people will gain more than one prices, am I right?

So, why Anet should create such an Unfair scoring system?
Imho some solutions can be anything like that:
Make 2(two) top 100,
1st with best scores (with name duplicates of course),
2nd with top 100 players (every player will register only his/her best record).

Leaving the top 100 like that... would be like qualifying in Formula1 for first, second, third, fifth (and so on)...and keep those positions empty, with no cars...
imho....dementially weird..

This has been done over and over.Ever since it was actually brought into,people had questioned the fact that people could rank ,multiple times for multiple minipets.

And even now nothing has been done for it.

I believe that anet didnt give out multiple minipets to the same person despite how many times they were in top 100. They just went outside the top 100 if needs be to get 100 different people.

its per account not per character. And i didnt know they still give out mini beetles....they do?=O

mini beetle prices are not the real problem, the problem is the ranking (and if there are prices,its just even worst):
in a thousands player game, a top100 ranking system with lots of duplicates makes no sense..

it's ridicolous to give more than one minipet to the same account.

and i don't want to think that they cheat because of very high scores

as far as i know, the greased lightning mini prize was a one time giveaway for placing in the top 100 during the canthan new year event in february.

and if you really want to get in the top100, just spike join with some friends to rig the match in your favor.

OK, wow, time to clear up some misconceptions.

1) You absolutely positively WILL NOT get a mini beetle if you finish in the top 100 this weekend. Those were a one-time deal during the first weekend of rollerbeetle.

Why people insist on complaining about it being so unfair that they can't get on the top 100 to get a mini when no minis will be given out is beyond me.

2) On the weekend when prizes were given out, those players on the list who posted more than one top 100 time only got 1 prize. The rule was 1 prize per account, and Anet announced this in advance.

3) The scoring system used for this event is exactly the same scoring system as is used for every other competitive mission. If the devs were going to change this, they probably would have already; there were a lot of very upset people (and for good reason) immediately after the original event.

4) Entry spiking doesn't work. Not for this operation, anyway. Take that to randoms or Snowball Arenas.

5) You don't even have to boxcamp an echosuper for top 100. I've seen Yuris Sayuri post top 100 times while running a totally different strategy than most other top 100 players that doesn't involve hitting the water boxes.

6) If your top time is in the low 470's, there's probably one of two things wrong with what you're doing:

a) You're misplaying the sequence from checkpoints 3 to 6 (the setup for the spiral bridge and the spiral bridge itself)
b) You need a better computer. You can post a top 100 time with latency given enough runs if you play well enough; you cannot post a top 100 time unless you have a decent framerate (40 is adequate; 60 is a lot better).

ok replying point to point:

1-2)no1 is complaing about "omg I want a rollerbeatle too for this weekend"
not me nor other, here we are just saying that is useless, mindless and madness (no, this is not spartha :P), keeping the top 100 system how it is.
Imho play a game that is fun itself, is enough rewarding without a special mini thing at the end

3) I wish to start a petition, and find out how many players are disappointed like me with that scoring system, careless of what Anet has done/is doing/would do or not do about it. Gaile Gray and support team allways tell us to share our thoughts on forum, and thats my 0.02 $ about a part of the game.

4-5) true those tactics may help to win a match (if you are going for a glad point ) , maybe enterspike combined with the right strategy and the best luck can give you a top 100 score.

6)a: you are probably right, those are my weak points
b: my fps are allways > 120 and my ping is somewhere around 50-110

Stop signing and whining, read the previous posts or the website, you only get one per account no matter how many times you get top 100.

Another thing to add in; luck plays a BIG part if you want a top score. Those who are in the top 100 just know how to use that luck.

The issue isn't whether people get more than 1 prize per account if they're in the top 100 scores more than once (which they obviously don't). The issue is that because so many people are in the top 100 more than once it may be preventing a ton of people from being in the top 100 who deserve to be in it. By the wording of the the records NPC it's the "top 100 racers". Anet should have to honor that.

Thread necromancy is bad. Plenty of open threads that cover this point, in any case.

perhaps they should take out the npcs that indicate a mini rollerbeetle prize for the top 100

AND combine all these rollerbeetle threads

becuase this shit still exists and nothing was done to fix it...
