Impurity of the Reaper
Ammo
This is an extremely simple and destructive build to use in any situation. It only uses 3 healing enchantments, but dont worry, your health will be kept above 50% throughout almost any battle. Just remember to recast vital boon (and aura of thorns) after using twin moon sweep!

Considering your going for the health bonus of Reap Impurities, even though its really not that good a skill compared to Victorious Sweep, i'd say use Wounding Strike. Having to wait for something to get under 50% health before you can hit it with a condition isn't helpful. I'd say use Armour of Sanctity too for some nice damage reduction instyead of Faithful Intervention.

I'd see if I could find a way to get myst up one point, as you'd get 1 more point of energy for an ending enchant at 9.
This seems like an energy intensive build. Don't you run out a lot with chilling victory + reap impurities + mystic regen?
I would maybe put eremite's zeal or meditation in place of twin moon, and use that to rend off aura of thorns followed by reap impurities. 5 self heals seems a bit overkill, but that's just me.

Using Wounding Strike doesnt do any damage besides deep wound, and it doenst take long to get your opponent down to 50%. I was thinking about using a myst hood instead of scythe (enrgu isnt much of a poblem, but it would help), but wanted some opinions first.

The point of wounding strike is a spammable deep wound. Reapers Sweep just sucks. And since your build is obviously going for foes having conditions on them i'd go for the spammable deep wound over the *i must use this on a foe below 50% or i've wasted my slot* deep wound.

Technically, a foe takes 25% more damage while suffering from deep wound. 20 of 80 is 25%, not 20%.
Say if deep wound did -50% hp for example. You apply it on a mob that has 200 hp and hit it for 50 damage. The mob's max hp would be lowered to 100, then take 50 damage and have 50% hp. When the DW disappeared, it would have 100 hp. While deep wound lowered the health by 50%, it allowed you to deal +100% more damage.
I prefer wounding strike since it's one of the easiest appliable deep wounds I'm aware of, and completely spammable allowing you to *keep* it deepwounded.
I use reaper's sweep for the damage, and consider the DW effect on it just an extra bonus. Deep wound is used for increasing damage and reducing heals against a foe, and I find it a bit undesirable when you can only use it on a foe who's literally half dead already.

What he said because Reaper Sweep is usually for finishing move to kill your foe. I was thinking, if your use many conditions, to use this enchantment [skill]Mystic Corruption[/skill]

4. Who gives a toss, you have monks for a reason, you build just sucks if you attempt to cover for everything.

because you die first is NOT a reason not to take a rez. thats a reason to start playing a monk, because you obviously have no idea how to survive in melee.

Id say drop earth prayers to 8 and up myst to at least 12.
You're also concerning yourself with self healing far too much...with all enchantments going you get insane regen..you don't need extra things to heal with in slots where you can be doing more damage.
Use Windwalker insignias if you're still worried about survivability
The snare from aura is nice but not essential
Some IAS really makes the Derv a killing machine...another good enchantment would be Heart of Holy Fury (correct me if I got the name wrong)
You can swap the snare for that or Chilling Victory for it.
Also with the IAS I'd swap out Vital Boon for Mystic Vigor.
Lose twin moon for Victorious sweep
Lose reap impurity for Mystic sweep
As for the res...who cares odds are you're in a full party with heroes and henchies the majority of the time...that's 7 other res's assuming you use a res on your heroes.

Just remove Holy in the name and you will be right after that (sounds like a mix of Heart of Holy Flame and Heart of Fury). Anyway [skill]Heart of Fury[/skill] is a good mysticism skill for IAS

Thanks for the clear-up on the skill name.
On a side-note....noobie poster question-
How do you post pictures of the skills like that?

I don't ever bring res, simply because I focus on killing, not playing monk. Monks and rits can res/remove conditions, and i do often switch out my first skill for Holy Flame.
MrFuzzles
Ressing doesn't have anything to do with monking, apart from the few res spells which are more effective if you already happen to have points in their attributes.
If I play a monk and a party member refuses to bring res because I have one, I either leave or kick him. Whichever is applicable.

Right well now we have Scrolls of Ressurection. Still think you need a res desperately Coloneh?

Well your a stupid ass moron. Everyone in PvE should have a res. And in PvP everyone but monks/rts (depending on what rit is doing) needs a res sig.
