Being able to use [skill]Frenzy[/skill] correctly.

Understanding that you are not only a defensive wall. Understanding that you are not only a attack skill spammer.

You are both in PvE, yet in PvP neither. In PvP you are a Shock Trooper, a heavily armored, mobile attacking machine (or a tank in real life military terms, except for the melee range). You will move between targets quickly, causing pressure to casters in their faces, hopefully making them react to you instead of hurting your team. You will spike key enemies in an instant when they are not looking, and sometimes when they are simply because you can get away with it due to the circumstances.

And for most melee classes, especially a warrior, the builds are normally always in the same format.

Attack Skill #1 ex. [wiki]Eviscerate[/wiki]
Attack Skill #2 ex. [skill]Agonizing Chop[/skill]
Attack Skill #3 ex. [skill]Executioner's Strike[/skill]

IAS stance=Increased Attack Speed Ex. skill]Frenzy[/skill]

IMS stance=Increased Movement Speed Ex. [skill]Rush[/skill] or [skill]Dash[/skill] or [skill]Pious Haste[/skill]

Utiliy Skill Ex. [skill]Bull's Strike[/skill] [skill]Distracting Blow[/skill] [skill]Riposte[/skill]

Self-Heal Ex. [skill]Healing Signet[/skill] [skill]Lion's Comfort[/skill]

Resurrect Skill = [skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

**NOTE THIS IS BY NO MEANS THE BE-ALL AND/OR END-ALL, MERELY AN EXAMPLE FOR A NEW PLAYER**

Charge your adrenaline, use your Utility or Self Heal as needed. Then get next to your target, hit your IAS, unload your attack skills. Use your IMS to remove frenzy if you are under fire. Mop up any remaining health on your target, then speed over to your next foe. Often times charging you adrenaline and spiking the same target (i.e. monks) may not work becuase they will be expecting your spike. Charge on someone else, the monk will spend their energy healing them. Then spike the monk as soon as possible while they are still healing his/her own team-mate.

Hope this helps, cheers!

keeping your DPS going without putting yourself into too much trouble, which requires not only knowledge of the warrior line skills, but also from the counters (and believe me, there are a LOT of counters). Don't continue to beat when you have one billion hexes on you, don't attack a target that just got SoD or guardian or any other stuff that blocks...

Also, when playing pressure rather than some spike, know how much damage you can do and how fast, which will determine when you can unload your skills onto a target and land a kill, rather than end up bringing a target to 50HP only to see it get saved again ...

and last but not least, battle field awareness (this goes for any player realy) : know what happens, where it happens, and what you should be doing to benefit your team (most common example would be : when to bash monks vs when to bash warriors (aka backlining))

there's so much more rly, but those were a few things that came to mind
