It's the same event, but with some fixed things, like assigned gifts and bugs fixed.

just read the text on the old mask carefully, they all say:Can not be upgrated by runes. but this very last demon mask didnt say anything, sure can mod em la

Does this apply if you regenerate the masks via the Festival Hats NPC? ... Wait, I'll try that now.

Edit: Yes, all new Demon Masks created via the Festival Hats NPC are similarly moddable.

It's a shame that you can't mod the old mask, hat, horn, pumpkin etc. Would be nice if they have armor build in as well. Ah nvm.

I wish they works as regular armor as well, would be fun to go kill some nasty beasts wearing a dragon mask or such.

Or slaying demons with a demon mask on...
