Buying a mic soon

I've never looked at any in a store, or anything like that, and I also need a headset for my phone. [not a cell] I was wondering if I could get a mic/headset for both or not, and also what the cheapest but not 'crap' quality mic I can buy. If anyone can tell me a brandname, price range, or what store to go to [BestBuy I would assume?] it would help a lot.

You may be able to find some cheap $10 Labtec or Altec Lansing mics or some $20-30 Logitech headsets at most places. I think those mics are good enough for most purposes.

Your phone probably has a smaller jack for a headset, so you'd need to either buy an adapter or get a headset that has the right size plug for it.
