Evennia and Glint
Buster
Where did they go ? Will we see them in Eye of the North ? So far I haven't seen any indication that we will see them in EOTN. Will they be a suprise or have they been forgotten ? Your thoughts are always welcome!
Mordakai
I wouldn't be surprised to see them. Glint, especially.

No, she was captured and sent to the Iron Mines of Moladune.
-Loki-
Glint stays in her little world in a grain of sand in the Crystal Desert. I wouldn't expect her to drag her ass out to help.
White knight lord
I personally think it would be cool to see more of Glint and Evennia well just not as kool.
MithranArkanere
I'd like to see Glint shapeshifted as Human.
Dragons love to do so sometimes.

glint=great destroyer? SUPER Glint!!! genetically enhanced to kick ur arse. with iron plating with a rocket launcher. thatd be awesome
mazik
Well considering we have 2 Shining Blade heroes, I wouldn't be surprised to see Evenia make at least a cameo or something.
I've been wondering if the Great Zehtuka will show up again. but I think he's been killed, as he's seen in torment.

Oh... Jatoro Musagi and Suwash they could be back too...
I would fin really funny if they turned into common GW lore.

I was hoping Jatoro would be a hero, but a random appearance would be good too.
mazik
haha, ya Suwash would be awesome to have back. He could be like a Corsair captain now, or some such.
Darksun
It would definitely be cool to see Glint back on the scene. I think it's odd that she's been so absent. You'd think the first being made by the gods would be involved in stopping Nightfall.. weird.
Gregslot
She lives in a grain of sand, why would she ever leave?
Plus, she has eggs to take care of, or do you think your mother just left you when you were a baby child to fight evil !?
What happened to Shiro and The Lich? We killed them and they got back, will they get back again!?
There are so more interesting things to question.

There are so more interesting things to question. They were destroyed in the after life by us. They, like Abaddon, have been obliterated. nardhelain
So help me if Jatoro shows up, I'm turning a flesh golem loose on him. He's caused enough trouble already.
The Thing
I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Evennia, Jatoro, and Suwash...in the Norn Tournament!

(Hey it's possible.) I hope they put Zehtuka in that tournament. Zorgy
"...We're very big into narrative and storylines," said Jeff Grubb, the title's Creative Director. "(In Eye of the North) we've thrown in story elements that are nods to our fans." According to Grubb, one of the major reasons for returning to Tyria was simply because out of the three locations in their universe that the Guild Wars team has created, it's always been Tyria that's produced the most passion. Eye of the North will answer many of the requests fans have made since the end of Prophecies. Who are the Charr and what's happened to their society since the players killed their gods in Prophecies? When can we get back to a pretty fantasy universe more like pre-Searing Ascalon? Will we even find out what happened to a lot of the characters we came to care about in those games?
The other reason is a bit more prosaic. Eye of the North is a bridge to Guild Wars 2, not only from a gameplay mechanics perspective, but also from a storytelling perspective. Eye of the North is designed to set up races and situations that won't pay off for another 200 years when Guild Wars 2 is set. "We want to give people a lot of stuff to speculate about," Grubb smiles. "Our lore fans are very passionate and very good at predicting things."..." draxynnic

It's a little far fetched to think that the heroes of Ascalon just randomly decided to kill Glint after completing her test... although technically she did attack us first after touching an egg. But, yeah, she's a prophet so she saw what was coming and probably manipulated events to defeat Abaddon. I'd also put my bets on the Scepter of Orr making an appearance in GW:EN. Possibly in relation to the Asura and the Tarnished Coast. judgedread33
=) mabey glints eggs have hatched and we get the babys help (they are prophets in training) now that would be cool!
Mister O
We 'killed' Glint, for the bonus.
MithranArkanere
That could perfectly be an illusion.
She seems to be still able to comunicate when you get to Droknar's. -Loki-

She seems to be still able to comunicate when you get to Droknar's. Well, there are plenty of ghosts that are still able to communicate despite being dead . Still, I wouldn't put it past her for both Glint and her eggs to have been some kind of aspect or illusion - she may have foreseen that the bonus groups would go for her eggs and end up killing her for them so she made the fakes to let them think they had their victory. After all, you certainly don't seem to actually get anything for taking an egg out with you apart from an extra thousand experience and another bonus towards your Protector title... Clord
Doing bonus in Glint's Cave not count towards canon what happened, bonuses was just to do something else during missions.

No one is mentioning the beings that live in the Mists that took Shiro into the afterlife in the first place! They will most definitely be an impact in GW2 and GWEN! You know the ones I am talking about, the ghosts with ugly, bloody, holes in their heads and scars and such... I forgot their names >< ><;;
And what about Suun, the first time we heard of the Mists, they were explained from that Priest in Nahpui! This is going to be a TIE IN with GW2, so don't be surprised if a lot of it isn't reflecting on the older stuff, and more focused on the new topics that will be heavier in GW2 such as : The Mists, etc. Just my own Opinion! They are the envoys and Shiro was one of them.

Not sure where Evennia has gone. Since Kryta is in civil war she would paly a big part in that but from what i have heard we wotn be heading back to Kryta......most likely we will be hearing about the events from Livia.
As for Glint it seems Anet have replaced her with the Eye of the North. Perhaps she could serve a purpose near the end or during GW2. Quote:

There are so more interesting things to question. Shiro and the Lich may make an appearence in the Norn 1 v 1 Arena (Has will most likely Rurik) but we pretty much destroyed their spirits in the RoT.They wont be back to impact the story. Buster
Thanks for you replies guys. I was just finishing getting my Dervish though Prophecies the other day and I was like hmmm, wonder what happened to Glint and Evennia because you don't hear from them anymore. Anyway, either way it would be cool to see them again if not no big deal we got new faces in EOTN to learn about

At the end of Factions, the envoys said that we wont be seeing Shiro again and yet we did in RoT!

At that point, the Realm of Torment was still considered to be an unbreakable prison. They may even have been right - Nightfall wasn't about Abaddon leaving Torment, it was about expanding Torment to cover the world.
The Envoys certainly weren't expecting the PCs to go into Torment after him... There are plenty of adjectives and nouns that could be used to describe the Envoy's claims about what would happen to Shiro, but they weren't lying - to tell a lie one has to know one is speaking a falsehood, while they believed they were telling the truth and it just turned out that they were mistaken. I like those Envoys. I wonder if they came from another realm or if they are extinct species from Tyria (the planet). Maybe we'll get some info in GW:EN. They may even pop up in GW2!

Well, [wiki]Courier Torivos[/wiki] appears to be a minotaur, and not of the variety seen in Tyria or Elona...

With the exception of Courier Torivos, they all seem to be human. I do hope we get some backstory on them on GW:EN though. They were always very interesting and mysterious to me.
MithranArkanere
They could add the remaining 3 realms and make them be in one of them, giving quests.
