unlucky title: effect on lockpicks?

i know that having ranks in the lucky title increase your chances of retaining a lockpick, but does unlucky decrease your chances of retaining one?

i've looked everywhere for an answer but have only found information about lucky. my guess is that the answer is no, but does anyone have a definitive answer?
