Dagger Mastery needed for Deadly Arts Spells?

Hi I am trying a new build with Deadly Arts skills (i love it) but some of the Deadly Arts SPELLS use daggers...

So my question is: Does having attribute points in Dagger Mastery (which affects damage you do with daggers) increase/decrease the damage you would do with Dancing Daggers (Deadly Arts Spell) for example?
